POSITION: Diesel Mechanic
INDUSTRY: Mining Industry
SALARIES: Market related
AREA: Northern Cape

Responsibilities:
To ensure maintenance is done on the production fleet. To keep the vehicles under their responsibility in good condition and ensure that vehicles are safe for operational usage, which includes but is not limited to:
• Production vehicles planned and breakdown maintenance
• Customer relations
• Good housekeeping
• Equipment inspections
• People supervision
• SHERQ adherence and compliance
• Work Ethics

Qualifications & Experience required:
• Grade 12
• Trade Test (Diesel Mechanic trade)
• Certificate: N2 Theoretical Engineering (Diesel Mechanic)
• Minimum of 2 years operational Diesel Mechanic experience post-qualifying as an artisan and 2 years operational Earth Moving Equipment experience
• Drivers’ license

Specific Equipment Experience:
• Komatsu PC4000, PC5500, WA1200
• Liebherr 9200, R996B
• Caterpillar 994F, 740B, 745C
